ELECTROBAN S.A.E.C.A., once again marked its presence in the securities market with its seventh bond issuance program for a global amount of G. 30,000 million, distributed in 12 series, which will be entirely destined to the substitution of short to long term debt.
CADIEM Casa de Bolsa S.A. has been the intermediary in charge of accompanying the registration process of the Global Issuance Program before the corresponding entities. Mr. Elías Gelay, Chairman of CADIEM, commented that the last 3 series issued within this program for a total amount of G. 8,500 million, have gone to the market last Tuesday July 27, with rates of 11.50%, 11.50% and 11.75% at terms of 4.2, 4.3 and 5.3 years respectively, and the series have been placed at a 100% on the day of the issuance.
Econ. Elias Gelay, also commented that the PEG G7 bonds were very well accepted by the public, with 118 physical investors, representing 30% of the global value of the program and 6 legal investors, representing the remaining 70%, the great support of the investors for Electroban S.A.E.C.A. is appreciable.
The company has been importing and positioning its own brand both in Asunción and in the interior of the country, as well as launching new products to the market through its strategic allies, accompanying the beginning of a change in the corporate image, through a process that will gradually reach all its branches.
Mr. Jorge Achón, president of ELECTROBAN, commented that the issue has a Risk Rating of py BBB and that the present bond issue is the second to be made after ELECTROBAN's registration with the CNV as a publicly traded issuer.
