CADIEM, in partnership with Forestal Sylvis, a Paraguayan company specialized in reforestation and a benchmark in the field, developed the Eco Forestal I investment fund.
It is a long-term fund aimed at planting Eucalyptus trees for their care and subsequent sale in the form of high quality wood for industry.
The investment objective is to lease 1,900 hectares in Caazapá for silvopastoral forestry plantations.
"From CADIEM we have the objective of accompanying the financial well-being of our investors and as part of that, we continue to innovate and create new products that offer profitability and can offer diversification. In this opportunity, we developed a product that goes beyond profitability", said Elías Gelay, president of CADIEM.
"To date, we already have G. 24 billion of investments captured from customers who are already aware of and committed to this opportunity." mentioned César Paredes, vice-president of CADIEM.
It should be noted that the Fund is administered by CADIEM and Forestal Sylvis is in charge of forest care.
